Clearwater Storm Drain Services, Inc. is now Seventy1 Environmental.
71% OF EARTH’S SURFACE IS WATER. WE SPEND OUR DAYS PROTECTING IT.
Seventy1 Environmental is dedicated to improving water quality in Southern California by professionally caring for stormwater filtration systems, ensuring municipal compliance to meet water quality standards and reaching out to the community on the importance of reducing stormwater pollution.
BEHIND THE NAME CHANGE
Since this business began in 2008, we have grown and evolved within the stormwater industry, eventually reaching a point where we no longer felt that Clearwater Storm Drain Services accurately represented who we are and what we do. Seventy1 Environmental is a fresh representation of our company, our values, beliefs, resources and people. As we look back at our evolution, we clearly see it was only a matter of time before we grew into ourselves. Our roots were there all along: a group of outdoorsy nature-lovers with a unique perspective and an innate knack for leadership and professionalism. These days, we recognize we are more than just a company that cleans storm drains. We are in it for the bigger picture: a world of cleaner water. Stormwater pollution is a leading cause of water pollution in our country, and every day we see the positive impact of stormwater filtration systems as we literally pull pollution from filtration devices across Southern California; pollution that would have otherwise flowed to the sea. We surf in that water, swim in that water and eat seafood that comes from that water. Our new name pays tribute to this vital substance, its existence on our planet and our work to make it cleaner.
BEHIND THE LOGO
Hexagons are commonly found in nature. In fact, it’s often known as nature’s perfect shape. Why? For their efficiency. They just make sense. From honeycombs and snowflakes to the scutes on a turtles back, hexagons represent durability and strength. They also represent work. The hexagon in our new logo pays tribute to nature and balance while symbolizing hard work. The wave inside of the hexagon represents water. We thought it was the perfect logo to summarize what we are doing every day: working for cleaner water.
